“Poverty Eradication: The Role of Student Activism”

The Pax Romana United Natons Advocacy Team is happy to announce the 2012 United Nations Study Session!  We hope to continue IMCS - Pax Romana's tradition of successful, educational, and inspiring UN Study Sessions! This year's Study Session will focus on poverty eradication, an important theme of the 2012 UN commissions.

The UN Study Session will take place at the International Catholic Organisations (ICO) Information Center in New York City.

The UN Study Session will focus on the interplay of the UN, civil society actors, and the Church in the realm of poverty eradication.  There will be a variety of workshops, speakers, and other opportunities for participants to learn about international political advocacy as well as grassroots action.
